looking for travel agents which let me pay a heavy deposit, and then pay the rest around 2-1 weeks before i leave?

do these exist, or is it all 4 or 10 weeks?

    No you would have to pay a balance 10-14 weeks before depending on operators terms n conditions

    You could book directly with the hotel then you don't need to pay until check in or even check out.

    They will all let you pay a heafty deposit 100%
