hi were flying to marbella in a couple of weeks with ryanair, its our first holiday abroad i know i have to do the online check in but do i still need to be at the airport 2 hours before my flight.we are only taking hand luggage so no bag check in can any 1 help me

As long as you're happy that you can get through security in good time, you can cut it down
I usually try to hit the security queues an hour before the scheduled flight time

No you don't have to be there 2 hours before. Your boarding pass once you have checked in online will tell you what time the gate closes and you need to be there before then (I ususally get there an hour before take off when I check in online with hand luggage)

OP Did you see the other thread on MSE re Ryanair's website is going to be down for maintenance? Can't remember what dates in May it is but just to give you a head's up.

I flew with Easyjet at Christmas with just hand luggage. I arrived at 0655 for an 0815 flight and only just made it to the gate with 10 minutes to spare due to the security queues.

ETA Flew from Glasgow.

thanks deedee71 just checked out the site closure it doesnt affect us as we fly on the 26th but thankyou to yourself and every1 else for the advise. i do have 1 more little question once ive got my boarding passes is that all i will need to check in at airport, what i mean is will i not get any tickets,
as its our first time flying not sure on the check in procedure at the airport

Nothing else but I usually take my email confirmation
