Need help! Hotels/B&B's with good links into Cardiff?

I've booked a surprise for my boyfriend at the millenium stadium but now need a B&B for the 2nd june for one night - but most have sold out/bumped their prices up!
I don't mind travelling outside as we'll be driving down but would be getting the train into cardiff (taxi if it's not too far). But I'm having trouble finding somewhere? Anyone know of anywhere? Willing to spend upto £80
any help would be much appriciated!

Travelodge Newport has rooms for £49.95. It's right next to Newport station, trains to Cardiff take 14 mins.0
