Credit report issue

in Credit cards
Hi
I've signed up to both Experian and Equifax and I can see that the credit cards that I've paid off in full last month are still showing on file as outstanding. One card was last updated on the 8th May and I was wondering if there is any way of correcting this? Reason being is that we want to get a mortgage quite soonish
Thanks
