When I was in a similar quandary, I did some pros and cons.
decided to stay put, what decided it?
Bigger house = more housework
bigger house = bigger bills
Oh and I decided to spend the money on a holiday house in Turkey..
Very wise.

I know 1 person who has done a loft conversion, but I cant help wondering - where do they keep all their stuff that I keep in my loft? Maybe I just have too much junk :rotfl:
I have a huge loft, but theres nothing in it because -
a - all my junk lives in 2 cupboards on the landing and
b - we don't have a loft ladder and the ceiling is too high for me to feel comfortable climbing a normal ladder to get into the loft :rotfl:.0 -

I do LOVE having a good nose at pictures of houses on the market though - I get all dreamy - I love the one with the stream at the bottom of the garden! But I would stop myself lolThe opposite of what you know...is also true0
