Can anyone advise the best & most cost-effective way for an U18 (17 yrs old) holidaying with friends to take Euros abroad - rather than just cash. Prepaid cards seem to be for 18+

if they are only going to use the card at ATMs you could simply get in your name
Even using it for general spending, no one will even check the name against ID when using it0 -
Travelex Cash Passport Globe doesn't have a name on the card. It also has one of the best rates on the market. Make sure you get the Globe version and not the Euro version as it will work out at a better rate for you.
Though it technically is 18+ also.
