Barclays Payment charges

Hi
I moved house around a year ago filled in the new address form with the bank and they sent me confirmation to new address that it had been changed for my account & barclaycard.
Over the last few months i've got in a bit of a mess with money and have gone over my overdraft limit and had returned payments. I know that this is my mess and need to sort it out but going over my last few online statments i have had 5 charges off Barclays for this but i have never been informed in writing, On further inspection my online statments still have my old address on so i'm guessing the letters have gone there.
My question is i need to contact the bank to make sure that this is changed but can i ask for the charges back as they have never informed me of them ?
Thanks
Matt

No.
Well - no - you can ask nicely and see if they'll be generous. But it was all in the T&Cs you signed up to - so they did inform you.
You also had online access you could have checked.0 -
To keep an eye on your balance I recommend using one of these tools:
Pingit
Online Banking
Branch
Telephone Banking
ATM
Text Alerts
Mobile Banking
All of these are free and easily accessible wherever you are and would mean you always know what your balance is.0 -
Complain formally about their failure to act fully on your instructions.
Ask them to put it right and waive the charges.
And keep a closer eye on things in future!0
