We had a Matiz and that was ok but the Spark has a motorcycle style LCD instrument cluster which looks real pants in a car.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
VW always had everything as optional extras, but it's a bit extreme if they include the carpets now.
Less weight on the basic model means it gets lower CO2 and higher MPG figures on the official EU testing, this means...- It helps with this "fleetwide CO2" nonsense that they have to comply with these days.
- Lower road tax for the purchaser.
Expect to see this sort of stuff happening a lot more. I wonder how long before we'll see cars coming with Reliant Robin style optional passenger seating?0 -

Might not be a car, might be a trade van that the OP can use outside work but isn't really suitable for longer journeys or passengers."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Yep, I had a company car for a year, purely because I was doing deliveries and calling on customers on my way to and from work, it was strictly business use only, I think this gets round the company car tax issue, BIL has a company van on the same conditions.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
I've had an Aygo for 2 years. It's been a great little car. The only problems, which were common for these cars, were repaired under Toyota's warranty. Most of these niggles have been sorted out now and I am currently waiting for a brand new one - top of the range Fire. Although you pay slightly more for the Aygo, it's depreciation is much less as it's got the Toyota badge and their warranty is now 5 years on all cars. And my dealership does great deals on servicing which you couldn't even get in any garage.
I would say go with a 5 door as you get much more room. I'd never had a 5 door before but I wouldn't go back to a 3 now. I also went with the air con too and managed to blag a free bluetooth upgrade. Also it's now worth noting that they all have new, even more eco-friendly engines, so all 3 makes are now zero tax however old, and even more mileage. I was getting around 55 mpg on every fill on mine and actually it is getting even more economical.0
