IF the agents are providing this service and IF they told the reference company it was £8,500 per month rather than £850 per month, I wonder if the insurance company may want some more money from the agent to rectify the mistake.IANAL etc.0 -
As betmunch says, they don't actually ask whether you can afford this. I suggest you ask HR for a copy of their reply too.Actually HR gave me a copy of the letter, so here is the wording they used if you're interested.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
