Insurance Terms Confusion

Hi

I was wondering if someone could help me undertand these terms.
Its with Gnu Insurance.

Its about personal money and exclusions
The Platinum Policy contains £5k coverage for baggage (With £500 per item and total for valuable limit). Plus £500 Peronal money- with upto £250 cash.

However in the terms it states under the general exclusions on page 6 that '• Personal money.' is excluded.

It then says on 15 under 'Special Conditions Applicable to Personal Belongings' that 'Loss, theft of or damage to cheques other than travellers cheques, money, postal or money orders, pre-paid coupons or vouchers, travel tickets, event and entertainment tickets, phone cards, credit/debit or charge cards.' is excluded.

So my question is do they cover cash? (Upto £250)
Also does anyone have any idea whether Gnu is good or not?

The cash limit for Platinum is £200.

You can also have £300 of other 'personal money' on you that isn't cash.

It looks like they've made a mistake on their policy wording which is a bit concerning. How can you be allowed a personal cash limit, but then be excluded from claiming on it. Doh! If in doubt, ring them up. It looks like you are limited to £200 of cash though.
