A bluetooth problem

My ipad has bluetooth and its turned on. My HTC phone is also turned on. My phone will bluetooth stuff to other devices but not to my Ipad. Is there a communication problem between androids and IOS devices? I also cant bluetooth my sons Iphone.

As far as I know, IOS devices don't react the bluetooth in the same maner as other devices.
It can't be used for file transfer (see this page, post 2).

Not sure if this would work as I don't use itunes, but in theory:
Transfer video from HTC to computer via data cable
Import video to itunes
Sync video to ipadHow do I add a signature?0
