Santander Online Banking - Interest Rates?

I've just set up a new account with Santander, and have registered for online banking. Is there a way to check the interest rate being applied to the account? I want to double check that it's correct, as the account name is simply "Cash ISA" rather than a specific name (i.e. "Direct ISA").

Not true. You are not able to currently see the applicable interest rate in your online banking BUT all the rates are online here.
You can also call them on 0800-092-2212 with questions about your existing savings accounts (not 24x7, but I think they are open 9am until 8pm or thereabouts weekdays)

Do you think the FSA would licence a dodgy bank? If you think Santander are dodgy, you should ask the FSA to revoke their licence.

Not dodgy in a cloak and dagger kind of way. Dodgy in a useless staff and management way :P

Seriously, I have never met such a bad company, been messed around so many times, failed ISA transfers, being paid less interest than was originally applicable. Above all that, the staff are so rude, both in branches and head office/call centres

To balance this, my last two dealing with them have been excellent.

Cash ISA - opened online and funds transferred by them on the first day of the tax year

Phoned to close and transfer Regular Saver. Answered in seconds, did it in about a minute AND offered to close my zero balance accounts. This was done in a couple of days with email updating me on progress.

:j five stars! Hope they keep the improved service up.

That's not good enough. There's absolutely no reason why they shouldn't show the interest rate on the statement page of online banking and they should show which version of ISA is held. I can see that I have a fixed rate ISA, but I can't see the term of the fix or the interest rate. I had to visit a branch to confirm that they had opened the account that I had asked for.

I don't need to see all the rates - just the rate for my specific account - not too much to ask, is it?
