How do I pay my overdraft off with a 0% interest credit card

Options
Does anyone know if its possible to pay off my overdraft with a credit card that offers 12 to 22 month 0% intrest without incurring large charges for a cash transfer. I would like to treat it in the same way you would a balance transfer from one credit card to another.

It is possible if you can get a cash advance which will probably set you back a fee of 4% although I do think MBNA / Virgin are one of the only ones that offer this service.
The alternative is to just charge all of your usual spending to your credit card which will allow for your overdraft to recover. Depending on how much your overdraft is and how much gets paid into your bank account each month will bring you closer to having your overdraft amount transferred (of sorts) to your credit card and your 0% facility will give you a chance to pay it back without charges..

    Good luck...

A BT 0% card with a slight twist as it is needed to pay funds into my current account not to another credit card.

Take your pick from any of these cards...

See the notes on the M&S card re Sterling travellers cheques (its a variation on the standard BT from a current account, the so called 'money transfer').
  • Or get a credit card and pay your partner by PayPal if they have it get funds that way x
