Capital One Classic

Hi all,

I have a Cap One classic card (6 months) with the inital £200 limit...

Does anyone know if they will increase it??? I have also just moved, is this likely to effect it??

My aqua card was increased from £350 to £600 from last week.

Also I am booking a holliday for my brother and my limit won't take it.... could I just put a posative balance on the card for a few days?? It's just for the added protection as the money will be paid off the card in full. :beer:

It's against the T&Cs to do this. Even if it can go through, when the transaction is put through the authorisation will most likely be declined as it's above your credit limit (ie. can't make purchases higher than £600).

If you call up Capital One and request a credit limit increase, they are able to manually process and application through their call centre. Pretty sure they will credit check you for it, but if in a hurry for an increase, give it ago.
