Anyone got any advice on this:
I have decided to upgrade my LCD monitor to a Philips LCD Tv with a pc input (DVi) the problem is I have not got the DVi connection in the back of the pc, I have bought an adapter which you plug the DVi cable into and then that end then becomes a VGA plug (you then use the monitor jack and you should get a signal. In theory this should work...
but when you hit the av button on the tv and select pc, up comes the message no pc input. what am I doing wrong? any ideas are welcome.

Do you have a VGA input on your tv aswell?
If this the the case then the 'pc' option will refer to this whatevers plugged in.
Keep hitting the av button unitl you get 'dvi' come upThe Optimist and the Pessimist
