Thank you to all the guys for posting their replies on this.
I think the best things for me to do is have a proper look at your account and see what is going on.
One of the things it sounds like it could be, is sometimes the Direct Debit is re-calculated if we have refunded all of the credit from the account. So we start from zero and calculate for the coming year.
But unless I missed it, you don't mention a refund.
I am here every morning until Thursday and will look at it as soon as you send your details.
I'm sure I will be able to help and get this sorted out for you

No you didn't miss it. There has been no refund hence my confusion.I am here every morning until Thursday and will look at it as soon as you send your details.
