Hi everyone, my daughter has just been given one of these and I have been trying for the last 2 hours to transfer across songs from a CD. I had iTunes previously as I have a Nano but haven't used it for a while. So....it says I need version 10.. something so went to iTunes homepage and downloaded again but keeps saying I need new version?? Had downloaded new version twice now and am pulling my hair out here so please please, anyone , HELP!!

Are you downloading the new version from within itunes or by going direct to Apple's site? How do I add a signature?0

My mac book will only support a version of iTunes that will work with iOS 4.1 My iPhone has 4.3.5 and I have to use my XP machine with iTunes with that.
I don't like iTunes on Windows PCs as it seems to install lots of stuff that runs all the time.
I wonder if the computer won't run a version of iTunes new enough for an iPod.0 -
Open itunes. As it loads it checks for updates (unless you have disabled auto-checking) and pops up a message saying a newer version is available, with a link to get it.
Alterrnately, in itunes, click on Help > Check for Updates.
Whilst there, click on Help > About itunes, and post the version number. How do I add a signature?0 -
