Probably not particularly relevant to this board , but since we've had a bit of a laugh about Angelene et Tony i thought i would relate this true anecdote shared with me today.

Over 20 years ago in an Indian public boarding school where everything was taught and discussed in English, One of the pupils was missing from mandatory PE lessons.
Later in the evening the PE master saw the boy in question coming out of the showers, grabbed him and enquired why the said person had not attended his lesson earlier that day.

The boy obviously caught off guard, blurted out the first thing that came into his head.

"Photosynthesis, Sir"

The Master taken aback by such a serious condition in the pupil
could only reply,
" Oh I see, You'' need plenty of rest then and don't come to PE till your better !"

The news of this conversation was widely reported both in the Staff Room and school at large......
