Card shuffle advice please

I urgently need to shuffle my cards to maintain my 0% rate. I was wondering if any of you good people could confirm if i am doing this right.
I currently have 3 cards
Barclaycard with £1858 (0% until June 2012)
Virgin with £4586 (0% until June 2012 )
Tesco £1606 (unsure of interest rae, but balance is 30 days old)
Barlcays have recently increased my limit to £8000 and is offering 0% for 6 months with a handling fee of 2.9%
Virgin has recently increased my limit to £10000 and is offering 0% until June 2013
Accepting transfer fees i would hope to to transfer the balance from Virgin card (£4586) to Barclays until cleared and then transfer the combined balance of £6444 back to virgin, while also transfering the £1606 from tesco to Virgin..
Whats my best approach to virgin/barclaycard to try and avoid at least one of the handling fees?
Do i ask Virgin to extend the promotional period due to end next month (for another 12 months) and accept the 3.5% fee on the combined balances of tesco and barclaycard. Obviously quite a saving on transfer fees.. Do you think they will go for this?
All advice gratefully accepted.
Thanks in advance

Why make life complicated. After paying May payments I would transfer all balances to Virgin in June. Well within the 10K limit.Mortgage free

but the oustanding balance on the virgin card would attarct an interest rate then.. no? The old 0% runs out in June 2012 with the new balance transfer 0% running to june 2013
sorry if i'm being bit slow :embarasse0
