Hi posted a while ago on this, having real trouble and cannot seem to find the answer. Even tried emailing AVG but they wanted the licence number which I hadn't copied on the download.
Anyway I download it, then agree to terms and conditions, press standard installation and then I get this;
Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\AVG.Kernel: creating registry key....
Access is denied. (5)
Any ideas, clues or guidance again, cheers.

Easy answer don't use avg.

AntiVir Personal
Try resetting the registry security if you really want avg
