Lake District Lakeland trails (recommendations for short break accommodaton?)

I'm trying to sort accommodation for my OH who is doing the Lakeland Trails this year in the Lake District. The next one is in Staveley. I have been looking at Bed and Breakfast as an option but I need two single rooms which is proving difficult to find and at a :money: price !
Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations ??
I have used the Heart of the Lakes before but they don't seem to have a short break option (that I can see) so if anyone can recommend any websites to search for short break cottages then I would be very grateful :j
