Hi all! Right!!

I have finally got in contact with CCCS and they have taken all of my debts and my expenditure which has changed from my last SOA, and said that a DRO is the best way foward i have agreed this and waiting on paper work ..... What should i do whilst i wait?
Thanks for all the support before guys, but will need it all again this time to keep up with payments!Virtual Piggibank Challenge : £9.65 - Target £400

well, at least you have a plan in action now! no more head in the sand/ looking for an easy way out, good for you.
write out your new SOA, stick it somewhere prominent,so it catches your eye often. (you could post it here too,if you wanted to)
stick to your budget, learn to live a different way.you can do all this while you wait for the official paperwork to come trough! get cracking, basically.
well done for making a start,don't give up!!LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -

Can you get a similar job in walking/cycling distance from your parents house and sell your car, which is taking up HALF your income? You are only earning minimum wage, so any full time job with no car costs will more than double the amount of money you have available.
You would then have loads of money available to pay off your debts and be debt free in no time at all, without signing up for a DRO which will kill your credit rating for the next six years. A DRO will mean that you probably won't be able to move out from your parents within this time.
If you sell your car, pay off your debts, you can then set about saving a few hundred pounds per month towards another car/ house deposit/setting up in a rented house etc while still having money to spend on having fun.
Sorry but it seems like madness to me to be paying so much money on a car. You should be taking advantage of near zero living costs to build up a nest egg to use when you move out of your parents house. The money your car is costing could also buy several great holidays per year as well!0 -
My car is my hobbie and since ive done that SOA its costing me less and i have got a new job which is half the distancee!
and my insurance has gone down £75 a month also !
