  • I have asked them and they refuse

Your parents refused to do that.

I can see why they would refuse

But I can also see why they would want to help.

At least this way you will be debt free in 18 months

If I understand this correctly and if her SOA is correct, then for her '£100 a month rent money'

    she is also getting included:

    Council Tax
    Gas, Electricity and Water
    TV licence
    Telephone landline and internet (??)

AND GROCERIES !! -as there is a '0' against all these- so I can only assume that they are included.

£100 a month- £25 a week- surely she eats more than this in food alone!!

If this is the case, I think her parents are helping her out a lot and we don't know their situation- maybe they can't afford to reduce her rent any further ??

I wish you all the luck sorting out your debts!

Many apologies for referring to you as a 'she/her' !!

Please get your debts sorted out and back on your feet as soon as possible- for example, yesterday you initially thought you owed Wonga £400 but it later turned out to be £961. Do it now- otherwise I'm guessing they will continue to spiral out of control. It's great that you have taken the first step and are getting advice on this website....

I'm not an expert- just what I have learnt from reading this forum, and I'm sure others will be long to advise you better, but there are charities- such as the CCCS- that can help you with a DMP without 'paying a middle man'.

I wish you all the best!

Until you have paid off your current credit, please don't even think about getting any more!!!
