Town&City Parking Charge Notice - Sainsburys

Hi, I have worked in my local Sainsbury's for almost 4 years, it's in a shopping center to the parking is privately owned by TCP.
I only usually work back shifts, 6pm-10pm and in this time I have never paid for a ticket after 5.30 as I have been told in the past the parking attendants finish at 5.30.
Anyway today I for a ticket for the first time when I finished work, the usual £40 within 10 days or £70 after that.
I've read a few stories on the forums and the stickies.
Definitely ok for me to ignore the letters I'll get?
Another thing is I am 2nd driver so it's likely that the letters will be addressed to my Dad is that right?
If so I'm a little worried that he will be overly paranoid about it.
Thanks all!

Just ignore. Town and City have never ever done court anyway. Plus your dad wasn't driving so has nothing to do with any alleged contract0

You need to bring your dad here to read up and make sure he 100% understands that these are scammers who come back for MORE MONEY if you pay the first part of the scam.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Thanks for the advice.
On another not, would you advise against continuing to not pay for tickets?
Would it just be the letters I receive if I got another ticket or would they take it more seriously the 2nd time?0 -
It would just be the same routine for them. Another day, another victim.
It might be an idea to have a word with your manager, as TCP seem to consider that you working for them is against the law.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

We have talked about it a few times in work, the store manager says there is nothing he can do about it, they have talked to TCP and all they offer is a parking pass, but that is only available to Managers in the shopping center and still costs about £25 per month.0 -
Can I get it clear, do TCP OWN the car park or just manage it?
Either way I don't think there is any chance they will take it further as they never do.
In any case if you totally ignore then they have no way of knowing who was driving so they'd be whistling in the wind.0 -

As far as I know they just manage it, another company was in charge last year but the owners of the shopping center had some dispute with them and changed.0 -
