Don't know if anyone has seen it yet but Capital One have got a new card for poor scorers.

0.5% Cashback on all purchases with £5 to get you going?

34.9% APR.

not bad at all tho if you clear in full.

    It would be nice if existing Capital One classic holders could convert to this without having to go through the close account, wait 6 months, reapply process.
    Doubt this is something they will offer though :(

    You dont need to wait 6 months, i reapplyed after a month
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    A quick check before you apply...


    • You're over 18
    • You have some history of managing your credit even if you have had CCJs or defaults in the past
    • You're on the electoral roll
    • You don't already have a Capital One credit card
    • You have read your Pre Contract Information, Terms and Conditions and Summary Box for information.
    That would rule you out if you have the Classic card already.
