Robinson Willey gas fires.

Have I been especially unlucky or have others had problems regarding quality control issues and poor customer service with a Robinson Willey branded gas fire?
My fire was originally fitted on April 19th straight from a sealed box. It had a visible inch-long mark on the front casing. The fitter came with another sealed box 2 weeks later. This replacement fire had a worse mark in the exact same position which had been sprayed over. It went straight back in its box.
The latest episode is that the manufacturer sent a replacement cover only this time, direct to my home address via courier. We phoned the original fitter who came again today (3rd visit) and tried to fit this latest outer casing. It transpires that it wouldn't fit due to riveted small bits missing. We're now awaiting further developments from the shop which supplied the fire and arranged for their fitter to install it originally. I can't fault the shop or their fitter. They have been nothing but helpful.
Any similar stories or is this an isolated case?
