multiply Hailfax cards

Hi

I wanted to aks if you already have a Hlaifax card are you allowed to apply for a different one, whilst holding the existing one? Or am I to assume you can only hold 1 Halifax card and possibly 1 BOS card

I called their CC application line this morning, was told I am not allowed to have another one. Having one of their flat rate card now, but want to have their clarify reward as well, the chap says, one card only.

I will try again tomorrow, maybe different story or go to the branch.

1 card per brand within LBG (i.e. 1 with Hfx, 1 with BOS, 1 with Lloyds)

they used to allow 1 halifax one card and one charity(NPCC) branded card. they now I believe do not have any branded cards as they issued a new halifax card for all NPCC cards early this year. I think that is the only way people could have two halifax own brand cards.
they would not give me another halifax card at that time thats how I applied for the Halifax NPCC card 6 years back

Odd.

I have an old Halifax (very little) cashback and a newer (rather better) card which gives me £5 if I spend £300 a month or more.

They made no fuss about the second card two or three years ago when I applied for it.

I had 2 - a card I had for around 7 years, then a Clarity card about 2 years ago. I only cancelled the older one a few months ago.
