What to do with my mange-tout?

I started these indoors planning to plant them out when they were a few inches high. They are now around a foot high and have flowers but I can't put them outside as it is too wet and windy and we have clay soil which has flooded.

The forecast is for another two weeks of this weather. So although I could put them outside temperature wise, I think the wind and torrential rain will see them off.

Any ideas on what to do?

Plant them all in a moderate size pot and use canes to form a wigwam to trail them up. Try to keep the pot near light. Then when the weather gets better, you can put the pot outside.

I've only just put my mange-tout seeds into soil (in a pot in the greenhouse).
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

    Pray? :A

Seriously, mine have been out for over a week now, and if not exactly thriving, they are at least still alive and climbing their sticks. I am at 550.'

Mind you, no wind or rain in sunny Devon, of course, if any potential [STRIKE]grockles[/STRIKE] tourists are reading this.

I was in Devon from 26th to 30th April and there was rain and flooding every day apart from the Friday afternoon!

Mine have been out for about 2 months - under a fleece and are starting to give me pods. Happy days!
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Ah, you were probably in the wrong bit.....:o

Seriously, because we're in the middle, the rain is often dumped on the moors north and south of us and we can miss the worst of the coastal stuff.

Down-side is no beach, so no tourists, and still stuck in feudal times.....(wrong kind of serf :rotfl:)
