[VENT MODE ON]
Saw the post about the new Samsung Galaxy Tab II 7" at the weekend (pre-order for delivery by Friday 12 May)and ordered one. Everything went through OK and I got an order e-mail.

Monday, I get an e-mail saying there is "a problem" with my credit card and to phone a London (0208) number. When I phone the number, there is a recording of a female (with one of those grating American accents) saying "Sorry, this number is not available!" I suppose it could have been worse - at least she didn't say my call was "important" to them before saying the number was not available! (Or do they just say that on 0870 numbers when it is important to them as you are paying their staff wages with the call charge?) Anyway, tried again Tuesday, same thing. E-mailed CPW back telling them so. Meanwhile I re-visit the thread and read that the item has gone OOS and price is now 15% higher.

Yesterday, I get a reply to my e-mail telling me to phone their 0800 number instead of the 0208 one. Phoned it, explained everything and the guy took card details again and said it has gone through and order will be delivered today. I ask if I get a tracking e-mail and he says it will be sent overnight. No e-mail this morning so I phone them again just to check delivery and there is no record of my order number. The guy yesterday has placed it as a new order with a different sales number(no mention of this to me) the item is OOS and they don't know when it will be back in stock. They can't explain why I was told it would be delivered today. (I also learn that they use Yodel so despatch could simply have been the start of my troubles.) Order cancelled and one more prospective customer vows they will never order from CPW again but what do they care?
