If she has moved into a council or housing association property then many of these bodies have furniture stores to help out people moving into flats & needing items for their homes. Of course the things are 2nd hand, but in good condition. A friend of mine furnished his whole flat apart from the bed thanks to one of these places after being homeless then getting a flat.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
