Hi
I need a new pair of 255 65 R17 tyres for a Nissan navara. When I browse the internet literally every single search result comes up with a different price. Is there one single price comparison site for buying tyres? Given that I live in North Wales how can I get the best deal as Im not near a national outfitter/tyre chain

https://www.blackcircles.com will give you pretty much the lowest price, and will arrange to have the tyres fitted at a garage near you.

Looks to be an expensive tyre.

My local independent tyre shop always beat the online prices.

I was all set to order some off the net when a mate said give them a call.

    Used them ever since.

  • Uncommon and expensive size.

Try a search on the Navara forum, possible some have found an alternative size thats more suitable, more common and better priced.

Hilux is thus, 07 to 10 plate Invincibles have a strange size peculiar to the UK and Western Europe, searching found that the proper size for the vehicle on those wheel dimensions was slightly larger for the rest of the world, more common and better priced, and as a bonus the vehicle handled better for it.

I love how these things have names like Intimidator! Invinsible! Warrior! Monster! Animal! Barbarian! Penetrator! Intruder!
It's like the designers were reading a sex toy catalogue!!! :rotfl:

Incidentally, does the Navara have an automatic system that detects cars overtaking it, boots out a load of black smoke (countermeasures?) and tries to accelerate off down the road?

I found TYREQUOTE.COM to be much cheaper than black circles. They only deal with independent garages local to you, and other people have reviewed the garages...found a great garage who fitted my new tyres for free and did a wheel balance and tracking after...AND tyrequote supplied me with a voucher at that garage to save on my next MOT. Result all round!

Two out your your 3 posts praise TyreQuote, do you work for them by any chance?
  • I praised icelolly.com so do I work for them too?

I'm actually a copywriter. A few friends recommended this site to me, they didn't warn me how presumptuous people could be.

I used icelolly.com last year- never again.
  • Really why?
I got a great deal to the Algarve, all inc 4* for £140.
(Sorry this is so off subject)

I used Tyreshopper a few weeks ago, for my tyres and they beat everyone else hands down, including my local independent
