Is it opossible to claim back VAT if you are not VAT registered?

As a general trader, which I assume is the crux of the question, NO.
There a couple of specific circumstances where non registered individuals can reclaim vat, items purchsed in EU for export, new built property can be zero rated and any vat incurred reclaimed.
But in everyday trading, the answer is no.0
