I have been thinking of investing in infrastructure for some time and am thinking about HICL and INPP as a couple of possibilities. I have just read an article on Interactive Investor which says that perhaps best if can buy when new shares are issued.

I know this has just happened with HICL so cannot aim for that but have also read that INPP are about to raise more money so may invest in that share then buy more if possible. Does anyone know whether they plan to raise money on open market or are they likely to place shares- ie is what HICL did unusual?
Are any of the other infrastructure companies doing this, does anyone know?
Thanks
