I used to regularly get trick or treaters from mid-sept onwards.
Everytime I would ask the question "what date is halloween"
Not one of them knew!0 -
I have to say that last year I was driven mad by the same bunch of kids knocking on my door every day trick or treating for weeks before.
I used to simply say, I haven't got anything yet but come back on Halloween.
On the day we had a party so the house was all decked out and I had a big bowl of sweets by the door, and not one of the little *darlings* came!
I have to disagree with the Xmas thing, it is a lot of peoples pet hate, having Xmas stuff on display in August, but I love it.
I have started my Xmas shopping already, just a few bits when I spot them, but this way it spreads the cost and I don't end up panic buying.
Actually I do still end up panic buying on Xmas eve, but it's not so bad!
It's not even so much the cost but the headache of what to get people, much easier to grab stuff when you spot it, easier to spot bargains too.Waddle you do eh?0
