Good online printing company .. Recommendations required please

I am looking to get about 500 a5 leaflets printed, but my local printers want to try and sel 5000+

Is there a good online company 8 could email the wording to, who could print off the leaflets and return them to me.

I would prefer fully coloured leaflets on a decent sort of paper.

I currently prefer http://www.copyrightrepro.co.uk/ but that's mostly because they are local to me so I can collect!

I've had good results with them (very helpful when it comes to proof checking rather than just printing what I sent them).

I think with online printing you have to compare several companies, some specialise in posters and some in flyers and you also have to check what offers they have on.

Not the cheapest for 500 perhaps, but if you do decide you want to do more I found Leafletfrog to be very good, for 5000 (which I know you specifically said you didn't want!) they were under half the price of everywhere else I looked (£69 for 5000 double sided), plus they include VAT in any prices they quote and give free delivery.

Didn't use their design services - did it all myself and sent a pdf - but I seem to recall their design/finishing costs weren't too bad either.

I have come accross a site called saxoprint.co.uk that seem quite cheap and as far as the reviews I have read, are quite good quality as well.

I am in the process of starting an online business and have looked at there services for a few things (business cards etc) and quite cheap comared to others.

They offer a range of services and intsant quoytes as you select your requirements, may be worth a look.

Have used Solopress. 1000 for £100. they are extremely fast. Placed order at 4.00pm and received by 11.00am next day. Friendly, good print department who can SPELL. The amount of times with other printers when the proof has come back and it is all spelt wrong is unbelievable.
