12 replacement pvc windows and 2 doors - a shade under £10,000 for wood effect or a shade under £9,000 for white.
5 windows are small
5 are medium size
Main bedroom is pretty wide
Living room is also wide and high (floor to ceiling type).
Very roughly, is this quote average? I know I haven't supplied sizes - I dont have them to hand at the moment.
28mm sealed units (4mm glass/20mm space/4mm glass) made from 100% pvc (no recycled pvc, which I'm told is poorer quality and will yellow sooner if white and fade sooner if wood effect?) Thickness of unit is 70mm.
Any ball park guesses as to whether quote is well off or not?

my SIL had his done (4 yrs ago). typical 3 bed semi, c1935.
only 9 main windows but includes 2 round bays and 2 small windows.
also had 3 doors and a large/ish porch (half height glass)
all white, upvc.
total fitted by a local company £5500.Get some gorm.0 -
just been quoted 3 thousand 5 for 8 windows adn a single french door,wood on outside and white inside.0

no probs only had limited time. house is a victorain terraced with a large front bay window. The company was safestyle and we had the top of the range pvc that is guaranteed (sp) for 10 years but will not fade or need replacing for 40 with all top of the range locks and handles.Dp did some good haggle work me thinks x0

please do some more research on safestyle before you order.
there has been some very bad FB on this company.
