Fruit of the Loom do plain tops, but you didn't say how old your baby was so not sure if they would be too big?

Oh I didn't know M+S did them, that's a reasonable price for them too...

OP, I buy long sleeved vests from ASDA (but they're often out of stock!) or primark (surprisingly good quality for the price)
