Is 'Growing Your Own' possible with a creepy crawly phobia?

I have a wormery in my courtyard and am often to be found borrowing in it to show people tiger worms and how they make vermicompost. They are great. I'm currently settling in a new set of worms to increase the amount in there, and half of them are going to a new wormery at school.
I took possession of about 500 in an ice cream container about 3 weeks ago. It is amusing watching the faces of the post office people when they realise they are holding a container - with holes in - labelled 'LIVE WORMS'. Tee hee hee.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Growing stuff is probably a good way to desensitize yourself to creepy crawly phobias. You'll gradually learn about the good guys and the bad guys, and how to deal with them. Join them in their world, rather than seeing them from a distance and being automatically scared.0
