I'm not sure what the meal deal is, but I certainly wouldn't book to have your dinner there when you have a vast array of places to eat within about 5 minutes walk. You also have plenty of places where you could get breakfast too, but I must admit I always like having breakfast where I'm staying...

You can view the menu on their website

Meals will be Harvester/Beefeater type - ie reasonable but nothing special

    Hi

we stayed at a premier inn last weekend (not liverpool) and we had the meal deal which was a three course evening meal plus a drink and then an all you can eat breakfast the following morning all for £22 per person. We thought it was good value and chose it as there was no where else to eat nearby so going out would mean a car or taxi journey. It was a beefeater restaurant and although this would not have normally been our first choice we certainly ate very well. As for the breakfast the following morning what can I say it was fantastic, we did not need to have lunch that day as we were still full. The cooked breakfast order was taken at our table and was cooked to order and brought to our table, waitress service. There was also a buffet with all the usual cereals, breads/muffins/croissants, fruit salad, berry compote and yogurts, fruit juices and tea and coffee.

We stayed at a five star london hotel back in february and the breakfast at the beefeater restaurant was by far superior. I would have no hesitation about booking the meal deal if we stayed at a premier inn again.

The Albert Dock is a great base if you are staying in Liverpool but I would not eat in the hotel as there are so many great places to eat within ten minutes walk as the previous poster said.

Check the restaurant vouchers on this site and you will find most of them have branches in Liverpool which will be more fun than staying in.

We stayed there and ate in with two kids, certainly nothing special, very slow and a saw at least two tables complain about something but this was quite a while ago so may be better now. I do remember a parking hassle though. There was a public pay car park opposite but it was something silly like you could only put a ticket on to 8am next morning so everyone has to get up early and get decent to go buy a new ticket, the ticket warden was there ready to pounce - I can't remember exactly but recall it was really annoying and doesn't make for a relaxing break.

Generally I use Premier Inn's quite often and find the restaurants not bad, decent value but the meals are fairly basic 'fill you up' stuff.

    Wouldn't bother eating there TBH.

Premier inn foor is affialted to the local bar or pub. You have Liverpool One 5 mins away from the docks, you have umteen resaurants on the docks area too. 5 Minutes drive away is a fab chinese restaurant ( the chinese all eat in there), you have China town 10 mins walk away and so many bars and restaurants in town, you will be spoiled for choice.

My favourite ones when staying with friends in Liverpool are

    TAI PEN REGENT RD
    MEI MEI ON BERRY ST
ZORBAS - GREEK MEZE TO DIE FOR BERRY ST/RENSHAW ST JUNCTION.
    CASA ITALIA WOOD ST
YUET BEN CORNER OF BERRY ST ( VEGITARIAN )

The list goes on. It will only cost you a couple of quid to get into town to have a great night.
