Second hand market for whole of life policies

Can you tell me whether there is a second hand market for whole of life with profit life assurance policies?

I have a client who is looking to sell as the surrender value offered by the insurance company is very low.

I have searched on google and have found a website called waymossonline (.com) but the website doesn't say a lot about the company and I am therefore hesitant to input the policy/ policy holder details to obtain a quote.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much for your response, although this website only covers endowments. My client is looking to sell his whole of life assurance policy on the second market (if there is one).
