SOLVED THE ISSUE
I am so think it's unbelievable!
After recently restoring factory settings on my laptop (don't ask!) I decided to have a clean up of all the program's I don't use including Google Chrome.
I have just finished installing my security software and when to go on the Internet when I realised that there is no Internet Explorer on my laptop!!
How on earth can I install a web browser without a web browser?
Help please! I have an iPad if that any help?

It might help others if you post your solution
Personally, i'd be getting rid of IE and re-installing chrome, but hey, horses for courses
Since you can't uninstall IE from a windows machine, i'd click 'run' and then paste in this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/internet-explorer/products/ie/home0 -
I couldn't find it in Start - All Programs so presumed it hadn't been installed!
Did a search online on my iPad and discovered I could locate IE at Start - Computer - (C:) - Program Files - Internet Explorer.
What a numpty!! Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0
