Paris in August Hotel recommendations sought

I am looking for a hotel in Paris for the nights 19-21 August for me and my wife. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions of sites to book through.
I guess I would like a hotel in the medium to nice range, not looking for a budget hotel which I know France does well.
I am looking for something as central as possible but have no idea what the going rate might be, the first night the 19th is a Sunday so hoping for a decent deal.
Grateful for any advice.

I loved staying here a few years ago, on the left bank, far enough away from the tourist traps to feel authentically parisian, but central enough to be able to access the main sites very easily. Also close to the Montparnasees tower which is the best view of Paris (because you can see the Eiffel Tower as well as the other sites).

The Hotel Innova is a great little hotel for the money. Rates very highly on tripadvisor considering it can be had for less than €100 a night.0
