Speed camera on motorway bridge?

OH has just got a speeding ticket for being caught by speed camera off a motorway bridge. He was driving a porcshe (107mph):eek: and thought he saw them but wasn't sure if they were checking speeds.:rolleyes: He has had a letter telling him about his offence but no evidence. Do the police have to furnish him with proof of the offence? We would like to know this before we get into any throwing up of hands or whatever.
