DO NOT, under any circumstances, write to Link offering them payment. Wait to see what they come back with first.
Thanks for the advice guys....
I did actually recieve another letter from them over the weekend, Ive been given a dedicated case manager, asking me to get in touch to discuss a taylor repayment solution. I do have expenditure forms from dealings with MBNA, my circustances havent changed, so these are still valid.
Would you advise writing a letter also send ing the expenditure, or just the letter for credit agreement 1st...
Sorry for all the questions...0 -
They have no right to see your I&E.
If you've requested the CCA from them then just wait to see what they come back with. They can't do anything until they comply with your CCA 1974 request.0 -
Bit of a newbie question - does a CCA 1974 letter request them to supply a copy of the signed credit agreement? Are there any templates for this letter?0

Hi Guys, just a quick update on my situation. Requested for the CCA, recieved a letter from Link yesterday, saying they do not keep ALL documentation related to the accounts, and they must request the agreement from MBNA which could take up to 30 days, actually never signed an agreement with MBNA when it was taken over from Abbey National. So well worth requesting the CCA. I have had calls from them during this period, still wanting a one off payment, and that the letter I recieved about a payment plan was a standard letter, so slighlty mislead. Im expecting another call this week about the one off payment, but at least Im armed with the knowledge of the CCA.
I will request everything in writing.
APJ, well worth printing off the template, I cant post links, but there is a link to the template on page 1 of this thread.0 -
Just had another call, obviously pushing for a 1 off payment....Refused blankly to play their game, said cant raise the 10-12K they wanted, then asked what could I raise! again refused to get into a conversation with the idiot, said I was still waitng for the CCA, his response, Why do you want that? its my right, he wasnt happy.0
