Insurance question

Hi,

I recently moved house to a higher risk area. (from a 39 to a 43). So my premium has gone up from £900 to £1200.

I have 6 months left (4 payable) before the end of my policy yet because i have moved they are charging me an extra £80 a month (or £295 now) on top of what i currently pay to cover the difference.

What i don't get is.. i have only just moved... i didn't move at the beginning of my policy so why should i have to pay the £295? shouldn't i just have to pay £295 / 3 = £98?

also, to add to this i have been quoted £930 elsewhere (fully comp instead of 3rd party fire and theft) and i would like to go with them instead. What do you think the cancellation fee will be like now i've changed my address? and do you think it will be worth cancelling or just carry on with the policy untill it runs out?

Thanks for your advice,
Reece
