hopefully you won't slate me for some advice! lol

right then guys, apologies for this but with all the different threads & variations, it all became too confusing for me! lol

anyway here's my situation

Egg Card - £8500 limit, £0 balance
LloydsTSB AMEX Card- £8000 limit, £0 balance
Virgin Card - £8000 limit, £4800 balance @ 0% for another 3 months.

I have Lloyds Bank accounts £1000 & £1500 (one I use as my business account),

regular online saver (8%) £2000 (I put in the maximum allowance of £250 in pcm) &

online saver (4.4%) £16,200,

I have just got Egg Money as well.

so advice please on how for me to get some £££££ for doing very little!
is there any deals or anything I should apply for?

cheers

Chris

If I was you I'd try and swap the Lloyds TSB Amex card for a Platinum Mastercard, and then see if you can pull off a fee-free 0% deal.

Although by the looks of one recent thread, Lloyds are perhaps not being quite so friendly these days. Phone 0845 3000 000 and discuss it with them since your an current account holder too - might help your chances.

If you get lucky, BT the money onto your Egg Money card, and from there to wherever you see fit ....
  • CB FiatDino is right, I managed to get them to give me 0% and no BT on my existing Lloyds credit card - which has been dormant the past 6 months.

    Good luck

Move your £16200 around to pick up more saving have it drip fed into several of those 10% or 8% savings accounts (I think Halifax are doing one).
As Martin says take advantage of your tax free ISA stick £3000 in one now before April the 5th,then after April 5th as the new tax years starts stick another £3000 in another ISA.
Read Martins articles for the best ISA's.
    Good luck
