Where to get tools?

Hi,
I need to pick up some tools:
A hand held jigsaw, file/rasp, and large aperture circular drill bits.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get reasonably priced decent quality tools please?

Cromwell Tools if local, Screwfix the same or mail order, ebay if you can wait.

Wickes are reasonable, but in general I'd say avoid the sheds.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I will have a look at prices for those items and order. Not in a rush so can order online too.

Given your limited knowledge concerning electrics in your other post, I wonder if it is appropriate that you get any tools at all. Maybe be more appropriate to get someone else in

Thanks Phil - I agree that my electrical knowledge is limited (possibly non-existent) and have decided to get someone in for that (electrical work - please see other thread). I've heard of many people getting shocks or worse so I appreciate your advice there. One story comes to mind of a friend who managed to zap her left tit in the process of doing something with a lightswitch. : /

The tools listed in this thread are not related to that. No electrics, water, pets, animals or children involved :)

    Cheers,
