Gov's warm home discount scheme, I though it was for older people, but looky here...

Can other people get a Warm Home Discount?

Yes, this scheme has been in operation for just under a year, many people received payments in April. It should be noted that payments will not be made again until next April, they are made once a year, not upon application.

i to recieved a warm discount off atlantic, re scottish and southern, last year and have just put in another claim after emailing to ask for another form. just to let you know all power firms have different criteria for this so dont be put off and ask your pf what these are. i got it because my husband is disabled.

thanks for this just looked we dont qualify because we dont have esa, income base jobseekers or income support, but ticked the other boxes never mind worth a try

Yup, we too get esa contributions based and carers allowance so dont qualify for income based ESA, therefore dont get this either.
