Barclays have changed debits & credits

I'm a Barclays customer and use online banking which they have recently overhauled and changed. This 'upgrade' includes now showing statements of accounts with debits in the column on the RIGHT and credits on the LEFT. I have responded to their survey querying this and asking why they have changed what has been standard accounting and banking practice for hundreds of years.
