Hi All,
Does anyone know, if, with Natwest when a loan advert comes up in the 'Personal Accounts' section under your exiting accounts if it's pre-appproved or not?
Thanks in advance.

I have seen them on my natwest and therefore suspect they arent preapproved as my current accountant is unused and is in an old interest free overdraft so would be seen as a bad risk (I know they said they'd refuse any changing my credit card with them despite having a very healthy and totally unused limit)0

From my experience, they always search equifax when applying for a loan or a credit card.
However I was allowed to increase my overdraft upto £7500 as it was within my Natwest overdraft pre-assessment limit and they didn't conduct a search.0
